The 990 EVO has a sequential read/write of 5,000/4,200 MB/s respectively, while 990 EVO Plus has as sequential read/write of 7,250/6,300 MB/s based on test result of 2TB capacity model.
Sequential and random write performance was measured with Intelligent Turbo Write technology being activated. Intelligent Turbo Write operates only within a specific data transfer size.
